The 8848 Ti Mobile handset is a bit like a Chinese Vertu, seeing how it’s pictured here. Priced at a bit over $1,560, this model comes with a stylish case, as well as LTE connectivity and Android 4.4.4 KitKat for some reason, instead of Lollipop

Inside it we find the Snapdragon 801 processor, clocked at 2.3 GHz, while upfront there’s a 5 inch Full HD display with an IPS panel. We’ve got a 13 megapixel back camera, a 2 MP front shooter and LTE Category 4 takes care of connectivity, with a top speed of 150 Mbps. Also on board are 3 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and the color variations here are limited to… “rust”.

The case is made of titanium, finished with a classy layer of what seems to be leather. The 8848 Ti Mobile seems to be pretty bulky, like a midrange Xperia from a few years ago for example. I can’t tell if it has a dual camera at the back, or simply the flash is separated from the camera.
