The Xiaomi 18 Fold has taken first place in AnTuTu’s September flagship ranking, posting an average score of 4,620,886 with Xiaomi’s in-house XRING O3 processor. It leads the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6-powered iQOO 16 by 170,961 points, or about 3.8%.

The result marks a shift at the top of the benchmark chart, but it comes with an important qualification: September’s figures were produced using AnTuTu V12, so they are not directly comparable with scores recorded under V11. The AnTuTu ranking is based on average results from tests conducted in China between September 1 and September 30, with at least 1,000 valid runs required for a device configuration to qualify.

Graphic highlighting the Xiaomi 18 Fold leading AnTuTu’s September benchmark ranking with its XRING O3 processor.

The winning 18 Fold configuration pairs 16GB of LPDDR6 memory with 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. XRING O3 is a 10-core, 3nm chip, while its newest-generation rivals are moving to 2nm manufacturing. The ranking suggests process node alone does not determine the final benchmark order.

Qualcomm-powered devices still account for eight of the top 10 positions, while MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro appears in the fifth-place OPPO Find X10 Pro Max. Older Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 devices also remain competitive, with the REDMAGIC 11S Pro+ and iQOO 15 Ultra both scoring above the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6-equipped Xiaomi 18 Pro.

AnTuTu said the presence of several 512GB configurations may reflect rising memory prices and manufacturers offering more accessible variants. The qualifying-run requirement also means a 1TB version is not automatically represented for every phone in the monthly chart.
