Apple has launched HomeView, a 7-inch smart display designed to serve as a home-control hub, entertainment device and communications screen. Both the tabletop and wall-mounted versions cost $299, with preorders now open in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia ahead of deliveries beginning November 13.
| Model | Colors | Mounting design | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| HomeView tabletop | Silver, starlight, rose pink, space gray | Tilting 7-inch display on a spherical audio base | $299 |
| HomeView Wall-Mounted | Silver, space gray | Wall-mounted version developed with Schneider Home | $299 |

The tabletop HomeView uses a stainless-steel hinge to adjust the Liquid Retina display for countertop, bedside or table viewing. Its True Tone screen automatically adjusts brightness from 500 nits during the day to 0.3 nits at night.
HomeView is built around the A18 chip and a new Siri AI experience powered by Apple Intelligence. Apple says the assistant can use personal context, retain conversation history and provide more natural responses. The device can recognize up to six household members, changing its interface, widgets and apps for the person in front of it. Private information from Messages, Calendar and Find My is only shown when the recognized person has an unlocked iPhone or iPad nearby.
Audio hardware includes two full-range speakers in the display, a woofer in the base and passive radiators, with Spatial Audio support. HomeView also supports FaceTime with Center Stage framing, Apple Music with iPhone Handoff, and Intercom messages sent to other rooms or devices in the home.

For smart-home management, HomeView can control lights, thermostats and locks by touch or voice. Its modular dashboard supports up to nine simultaneous security-camera feeds, while end-to-end encrypted notifications can identify packages, animals and familiar people at the door. It can also detect smoke- and carbon-monoxide-alarm sounds and send alerts to users’ mobile devices.

The device integrates with the Apple Home Collection of accessories developed with LG and Schneider Electric. It will not be available in the European Union at launch, where the Siri AI and Apple Intelligence features required for the product are not currently available on iOS.
