Acer’s Sospiro A70 is bringing a secondary display back to the mid-range smartphone segment. Built for Latin America by Mexican manufacturer Senwa Global under an Acer license, the handset places a 1.88-inch, 284 × 240-pixel screen in its rear camera module. It can show the time, message and call notifications, and serve as a viewfinder when using the 64MP main camera for selfies. A 16MP camera is also available on the front.
The phone’s 6.67-inch IPS display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, although its 1,600 × 720-pixel resolution remains at the HD+ level. Under the hood, the Sospiro A70 uses the Unisoc T8200 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

- 6.67-inch IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 × 720-pixel resolution
- Unisoc T8200 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage
- microSD card slot supporting cards up to 1TB
- 5,000mAh battery, 5G connectivity, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2
- Android 16, a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack
- IP64-rated protection against dust and water splashes
The Sospiro A70 follows the dual-screen approach of the earlier Acer Sospiro A15, while moving to a more capable hardware package. Its rear panel gives the device a distinct camera-focused feature, but the main display’s HD+ resolution is a notable specification trade-off in this class.

Senwa Global has not announced the Sospiro A70’s price or retail launch date. Availability beyond its intended Latin American market also remains unconfirmed.
