Beats has launched the Beats 360, a $349.99 wireless over-ear model that takes over from Beats Studio Pro as the brand’s top headphone. The new model adds interchangeable ear and headband cushions, an IPX4 rating for sweat and splashes, and adaptive active noise cancellation that Beats says delivers up to 1.75 times more total noise cancellation than Studio Pro.

Preorders opened September 22 in more than 100 countries and regions, with retail sales scheduled to begin September 24. Beats Studio Pro has simultaneously moved to a $299.99 official price in the US.

Customization is the most visible hardware change. The included Performance Knit cushions use memory foam and a breathable fabric, while replacement Performance Knit sets and synthetic-leather UltraPlush sets will be sold separately. Both the ear cushions and the headband cushion can be swapped, allowing owners to change color combinations without replacing the headphones.

Beats says the 360 uses newly developed drivers with three-layer diaphragms and dual neodymium magnets. Adaptive EQ continuously adjusts frequencies based on headphone fit, while an accelerometer and gyroscope in the left ear cup track head movement for Spatial Audio.

The Beats 360 also retains cross-platform features rather than limiting core integration to Apple hardware.
