The list of tri-bezel-less smartphones is growing, with BLUBOO S1 added to the trendy segment. This device is expected to debut in June, priced at around $150. This trend started with the Xiaomi Mi MIX and it was followed by clones and now by rivals.

BLUBOO S1 has “little to no bezel” on the left, right and top, leaving only room for a fingerprint scanner and Home button combo upfront. The handset comes with midrange MediaTek Helio P25 processor, 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. There’s a dual camera at the back here, with a 16 MP + 3 MP combo, with the promise of Bokeh effects in the mix, too.

I see that the back side is also gently curved on the sides and the front camera is placed at the bottom of the facade. Not sure where the earpiece goes, but it’s probably based on vibrations like we’ve seen on Sharp Aquos Crystal handsets. We don’t have clear details about the diagonal here, but I expect something in the range of 5.1 or 5.5 inches.
