BMX has introduced the SolidSafe Duo 5K, a 5,000mAh magnetic power bank built to match the dimensions of Apple’s newly announced iPhone Duo. The accessory combines 15W wireless charging, up to 20W USB-C wired charging, a permanently attached USB-C cable and a 360-degree rotating stand, aiming to add both power and hands-free support to the foldable.
The aluminum-bodied battery measures 77 x 88 x 11 mm and attaches magnetically to the phone. Its circular stand can rotate between portrait and landscape positions, while a small color TFT display at the center shows the remaining battery percentage and charging power in real time. The integrated USB-C cable also doubles as a carrying loop.

Wireless output is rated at 15W, while the USB-C connection can deliver up to 20W. When both charging methods are used at once, BMX says output is divided into 10W over USB-C and 5W wirelessly. The 5,000mAh capacity favors a thinner accessory over the larger reserves offered by 10,000mAh magnetic battery packs.
BMX says the pack uses semi-solid-state cells with less liquid electrolyte than conventional lithium-ion batteries, which it says can reduce fire risk. That does not make it a fully solid-state battery; it remains an intermediate cell design.

Although shaped for the iPhone Duo, BMX lists compatibility with the iPhone 12 through iPhone 18 Pro, as well as the Google Pixel Fold, provided a compatible magnetic attachment is available. The SolidSafe Duo 5K is listed by BMX at $79.99; wider retail availability has not been detailed.
