BOOX has expanded its E Ink hardware lineup with three Android 16 devices spanning a phone-sized eReader and two color note-taking tablets. The Palma 3 is the most compact addition, pairing a 6.13-inch monochrome E Ink display with a smartphone-like form factor, while the Note Air6 C and Note Mini C bring Kaleido 3 color screens to larger productivity-focused designs.
All three models use octa-core processors and BOOX’s Super Refresh technology. Android 16 gives them access to third-party apps, continuing the approach BOOX has used on devices such as its Go-series readers rather than limiting the products to a closed eReader software environment.

Three E Ink formats
| Model | Display | Memory and storage | Battery | Listed price and status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BOOX Palma 3 | 6.13-inch monochrome E Ink, 300 PPI | 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, microSD slot | 3,950mAh | $319.99; Available Soon |
| BOOX Note Air6 C | 10.3-inch Kaleido 3 color E Ink; 300 PPI monochrome, 150 PPI color | 6GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage | 3,700mAh | $579.99 |

The Palma 3 measures 159 x 78 x 7.8 mm and weighs about 195g. It includes physical volume and page-turn controls, a fingerprint reader, Bluetooth 6.0, stylus support and a 16-megapixel camera. Its hardware is built around portable reading rather than smartphone replacement, despite the familiar handset-like shape.
At the other end of the range, the Note Air6 C adds Dual Notes for viewing two notes at once and pogo pins for a magnetic keyboard cover. BOOX says its new processor is up to 40% faster than the chip used in the Note Air5 C. The Note Mini C targets a smaller color note-taking format, weighing about 300g and supporting the InkSight stylus.

BOOX has listed prices for all three devices, but the Palma 3 and Note Mini C product pages are marked Available Soon. Broader release timing and regional availability have not been detailed.
