A 29-second social-media video shows Dacia’s recently unveiled Striker driving on public roads, offering a closer look at the brand’s raised wagon-style model in motion. Shared by the Cars & Vehicles page, the footage is labeled as showing a vehicle being tested, but it does not identify the driver, trim level or powertrain.
Dacia officially revealed the Striker on July 8, after the model had previously been photographed without camouflage in June. The latest clip cannot confirm which version is being driven, but Dacia’s published specifications show a three-option lineup spanning LPG, hybrid and hybrid all-wheel-drive configurations.
At 4.62 meters long and 1.53 meters tall, the Striker has a long, low-slung body closer to an estate car than a conventional SUV. Ground clearance is listed at 19 cm for front-wheel-drive versions and 20 cm for 4×4 models.
Three engines, including a 1.8-liter hybrid
- Mild Hybrid-G 140: A 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine that can run on gasoline or LPG, paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. Six-speed manual and automatic transmissions are available.
- Hybrid 155: A 1.8-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine combined with a traction motor and starter-generator. The system produces 155 hp, uses a 1.4 kWh battery and is paired with an automatic transmission.
- Hybrid 150 4×4: A 1.2-liter turbocharged engine drives the front axle while an electric motor powers the rear axle, for a combined 150 hp. The combustion engine works with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The cabin comes standard with a 10.1-inch infotainment display, a 7-inch LightVisio instrument cluster and physical controls for frequently used functions.
- Wireless phone charging is available on higher trims.
- Higher trims can include a powered tailgate.
- A power-adjustable driver’s seat is also offered on higher trims.
The video does not reveal which of the three drivetrains is fitted to the vehicle shown, leaving the Striker’s on-road configuration unconfirmed. Pricing and market-by-market availability were not detailed in the provided information.
