A few weeks ago we wrote about the very interesting phone Doov V1, that stood out through a kickstand-style camera at the back, that could flip to the front. Today this device becomes official, through a special announcement.

This selfie-oriented device is dubbed Doov Nike V1 and it comes with a 190 degree flip camera, that can easily be used for selfies. The cam relies on a second generation stacked sensor from Sony and it sports a 13 MP resolution, F/2.0 aperture and optical image stabilization. We’ve also got a dual tone Philips flash on board, for improved color temperature and the main camera is flipped with the press of a single switch.

The camera sensor is protected against unwanted impact, by a 9H sapphire lens, with a high refractive index. Doov Nike V1 doesn’t only impress with hardware, but also with software, since it can enhance the beauty of selfies and increase the size of people’s iris, for a cooler look. There’s also digtal makeup to be added.

There’s also a gesture shutter and specs include a MediaTek MT6732 quad core processor, clocked at 1.5 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and a 5 inch IPS display with HD resolution. There’s Android 4.4 with a so called Super UI. In case you’re tempted, the price is $325.
