Elephone just teased a brand new gadget clearly intended for smartphones. It was posted as the picture below on their Facebook page and it seems to be a device used to stabilize shots when using a handset.

It looks like a stylish black and green handle of sorts, accompanied by a special contraption that holds the smartphone steady and fixed in an ideal position for video capture. Basically this lets you stabilize the image, even if the smartphone doesn’t have OIS. It feels a bit like a Steady Cam accessory for cameras or the gimbal that drones use.

The gadget can also be moved at an angle, so you can catch fast moving objects, or move yourself as you please for the ideal frame. I’d see this easily mounted on a bike or motorcycle, no problem. Hopefully the price will be just as good as the one of an Elephone handset.
