This year we had a lot of mobile devices with the Quick Charging technology on board, feature that sometime will indeed ease our life. Huawei is the company that just announced a new type of such a technology, one capable to charge a battery 10 times faster that normal.

We get to know that the Quick Charging technology is based on a special charger and on a new type of Lithium-Ion battery with a energy density over 620 Wh/L. In the video below we can see how a 3000 mAh battery can be charged from 1% to almost 50% in just 5 minutes, amazing, right?

Basically, once this technology goes out to consumers, we’ll be able to charge our next smartphone device is just a couple of minutes, even when we’re running out of time. And just smartphones will benefit from this technology, but other electronic products too, even those electric cars we’re currently seeing on the roads.
