We recently had a chance of playing with the HTC 8X handset for an entire week and during that time we also found a very interesting application called Fhotoroom. This app allows its user to both socialized and edit pics, plus share them. Let’s learn more about it in the following lines!

We started off by creating an account, in order to view and interact with the stream of pictures posted by the other users. You can even follow and favourite users and their pics, plus leave comments. Anyway, the focus of the app is playing with various effects, filters and options in order to edit pictures. There’s also a section for taking pictures and applying effects immediately when taking the pics, but that area is not that developed. The best part of the app remains the photo editing, with various frames, settings and functions.

The cool thing is that the app is available for free and its interface is very intuitive. About 50 customizable filters are available, plus 18 editing tools, including brightness, saturation, sharpen, RGB colors, resize, crop, image tones, rotate and many more. The photo’s style can be altered with tweaks like Pulp Fiction, Silver or Hazelnut. This is quite a nice photo app, excellent in fact, earning a solid 10 out of 10 from us. You can download it from here.
