After numerous speculations and even a leak or two, we finally have a confirmation of a least one handset unit with 720p display: HTC Vigor. Meanwhile, I’ve heard that Motorola, Samsung and LG are working on their own HD screen handsets…

As far as Vigor is concerned, this handset was leaked in the portofolio of Dutch online  retailer The Phone House, as shown in the screenshot above. In the meantime, the poster has been taken off the site, but what’s clear now is that we’ll have a smartphone with a 4.3 inch HD display with 1280 x 720 resolution, a 1.5GHz dual core processor, Android 2.3.4 and Beats by Dre technology.

This makes Vigor the first device to adopt the audio technology recently purchased by HTC. No info about other specs, aside from that 8MP cam in the screenshot, while LTE connectivity is pretty sure at this point, especially with a Verizon release in the US. Could this be a Thunderbolt replacement in the USA?
