An independent Galaxy S27 Ultra concept from 4RMD imagines Samsung’s next flagship with a camera island spanning nearly the full width of its rear panel. The renders and accompanying concept trailer are based on online leaks and are not official Samsung material.
The concept places two large camera lenses vertically on the left, with a narrower section alongside them housing the remaining camera components and flash. It retains a flat frame, subtly rounded corners and a centered punch-hole front camera. Bronze, green, dark gray and silver finishes appear in the renderings, but none has been confirmed for a commercial device.

- Galaxy S27 Ultra: depicted with the dramatically enlarged rear camera module.
- Galaxy S27 Pro: rumored to receive a similarly noticeable design shift.
- Galaxy S27: expected to remain closer in appearance to its predecessor.
- Galaxy S27+: also expected to retain a more familiar design direction.
Separate unconfirmed information points to a Galaxy S27 Ultra battery exceeding 5,000 mAh, a threshold Samsung’s Ultra models have maintained for years. DC dimming is also rumored for the display. Rather than relying solely on rapid pulse-width modulation, the technique adjusts the current supplied to pixels and could reduce discomfort for users sensitive to visible or perceived flicker, depending on Samsung’s final implementation.
An enhanced Privacy Display 2.0 is also said to be under consideration, potentially adding more adjustment options to the side-view-limiting display feature. Titanium appears in the 4RMD design as well, although it remains a concept-only detail. Samsung has yet to confirm the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s design, specifications, materials or launch timing.
