Eldar Murtazin has just hit us with a huge leak, the one of a HTC handset sporting a 12 megapixel camera. Also, the phone runs Windows Phone 7, as proved by the photos posted on Twitter by Eldar himself. It’s funny that he mentions the fact that this model is not W7, one of the WP7 models supposedly made by Nokia.
Last we heard, HTC was working on 16 megapixel smartphone based on Windows Phone, but no other info was provided. With this leak, it’s clear that Nokia must revamp its technology and surpass the camera performance of the N8 and E7 models. Of course, it’s not all pixels and we’re sure that the iPhone 5 with an 8MP Sony sensor can take on the N8’s camera any day.
Now let’s see what HTC can do in this field… as for the codename, since they’re naming tablets after artists now, let’s say that this is the HTC Picasso, if we’re to be creative.
