HTC announced a new midrange phone today, a model that follows up in the footsteps of the HTC Desire 610. The newcomer is dubbed HTC Desire 620 and it will go on sale early next year, at a yet unspecified price.

This model is a midrange one, with good cameras and interesting color choices, usually ones involving gray. It relies on a 5 inch Super LCD 720p display and inside we find a quad core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor. At the back there’s an 8 megapixel camera, while upfront we’ve got a BSI 5 MP shooter. Internal storage is 8 GB, accompanied by a microSD card slot with support for an extra 128 GB.

The OS is Android 4.4 with Sense 6.0 on top and this model also comes with BlinkFeed. This handset measures 9.6 mm in thickness, it keeps the typical roundness of a Desire and weighs 145 grams. From what I can see we also get some very solid looking front speakers.
