HTC Desire is among the handsets that will get the Android 2.2 update, but that will happen next month, on June 23rd to be more precise. Nexus One already got the update, albeit not in the official and final build, it seems. This rumour started when a customer complained about the lack of space to store apps on his Desire unit.

Apparently, a sales rep told him that he’ll have all the space he needs once Android 2.2 is available on the device, since the OS allows you to store applications on the microSD card.

Meanwhile, European HTC Hero owners have somewhat of a reason to rejoice, since the Android 2.1 update is coming in June.
