We’ve heard about this smartphone before, under the name HTC Knight or Speedy, so here it is again, this time dubbed HTC EVO Shift 4G. The handset recently got pictured after its ROM was leaked and its cases showed up in a retailer’s offer.

Also, the handset was spotted in Sprint’s inventory system a while ago and now we finally have a chance at checking it up. This looks very much like the 4G version of the T-Mobile G2 aka HTC Desire Z, also known as the smartphone that was overclocked to 1.4GHz. It seems that the phone won’t support videocalling, since it doesn’t feature a front camera.

So, 4G on Sprint and QWERTY sounds appealing, right?
