HTC is once again in the news and again it beats all records, surpassing NT$40 billion in revenue for the first time in its history. That happened in the month of May, fresh after the company registered impressive financial results in April. The amount of money translates to US $1.6 billion and it’s due to the high demand for the company’s smartphones.

This represents a 115% increase compared to the same month in 2010 and also an increase of NT$12.27 billion from April 2011. The first 5 months of the year brought around US $6.3 billion to the Asian firm, 145% more than last year, so everything is going just fine for the maker of the Sensation dual core smartphone and the Incredible S.

Analysts say that the company’s going up and they expect revenue to climb 10% in June alone…
