It’s very cool that the low-end-ish HTC Wildfire is getting this upgrade, specially since big names like the XPERIA X10 have failed to get it and there are some other models that are missing it too, like Motorola Defy. HTC’s relation with Google seems tighter than ever, as shown by their desire to be among the first to give Froyo and in the future Gingerbread to their devices.
