Huawei may give its next flagship camera phones a noticeably wider shape. A report attributed to tipster Digital Chat Station says the Pura 100 Pro and Pura 100 Pro Max are being tested with broad 6.39-inch displays, while the standard Pura 100 is expected to retain a more conventional smartphone form factor. The Pura 100 family is rumored to arrive in the first half of 2027.

The wider panels are said to follow the design direction of the Pura X View, potentially producing phones that are shorter and broader than the tall, narrow handsets common today. A wider aspect ratio can provide more usable screen area than an elongated display with the same diagonal, although it may also make one-handed reach more difficult.

The base Pura 100 is reportedly testing a 6.6-inch screen, down from the 6.8-inch panel associated with the current Pura 90. Earlier reports had pointed to 6.6-inch and 6.9-inch display options, suggesting Huawei’s prototype plans may still be changing.

Previous Pura 100 rumors have also mentioned dual 200-megapixel cameras, improved zoom and external optical accessories, but none of those details has been confirmed. The key question ahead of the expected 2027 launch is whether Huawei brings the Pura X View-style proportions to both high-end models or keeps the wider design limited to select variants.
