Huawei may begin selling the Pura X View in China on September 10, three days after a September 7 event expected to reveal the phone’s remaining specifications and pricing. The reported sales date originates with leaker SuperDimensional and was relayed by Huawei Central, but Huawei has not confirmed it.
The Pura X View is already listed for reservation in China, and Huawei has disclosed much of its hardware design. It is a rigid, unusually wide smartphone with a 6.39-inch 16:9.5 display, rather than a conventional candybar form factor or a foldable design.
Huawei lists a 2232 × 1320-pixel panel with 1.05 mm uniform bezels and a claimed 96.1% screen-to-body ratio. The device measures 6.68 mm thick, weighs 201 g and carries a 7,000 mAh battery. It will also be among the first devices built around HarmonyOS 7.0.
Key details remain undisclosed, including the processor, camera hardware and regional pricing. Huawei’s official product page continues to show the handset as available for preorder rather than confirming a September 10 retail launch.
The September 7 event is also expected to spotlight the Huawei Mate XT 2, the company’s next tri-fold handset. While that model extends Huawei’s foldable lineup, the Pura X View applies the wide-screen approach associated with the Pura X to a non-folding phone. Huawei’s event should clarify whether the reported September 10 China sales date will materialize.
