Nav N Go has just announced the release of iGo Primo 1.1, available right now for OEM partners. A revolutionary feature on this solution is the Green Routing, making the software eco-friendly by measuring driving time and CO2 emissions. Petrol money will also be saved with wise route selections.

Aside from Green Routing, iGo primo 1.1 brings enhanced fleet management support, user-editable speed cameras and new localized features. All of the user’s route selections can be compared to an eco-friendly Green Route. The feature calculates your route based on the engine type of your vehicle, anticipated travel speed and travelling environment-based fuel consumption (rural/urban).

The Simple Location API allows the Nav N Go partners to develop apps for in-vehicle devices, implementing navigational features in a simpler way. iGo primo 1.1 includes localized features as well, like 4WD routing support in Australia and special road sign warning (animal crossings and other dangers).
