Well, the iPad 2 is pretty much confirmed to debut next week, on March 2nd, as announced by Apple in a recent teaser. It could still be a MacBook event, but everything’s possible these days, with Tim Cook taking the stage as replacement for Steve Jobs. However, delays have been mentioned by Taiwanese company Hon Hai Precision Industry, meaning that the iPad 2 could arrive as late as June.

Meanwhile, analysts quote Apple’s track record and say that the April launch is still a go, but we could be dealing with a limited launch of the new product, followed by a period of stock depletion till June, once again according to rumors. As far as the slate is concerned, the new iPad is supposed to be thinner, pack an improved display and camera(s).

We’ll just have to wait and see!
