If you’ve caught the full Motorola Android handset trend, you might be wishing to get an Android 2.1 upgrade on your device. Thankfully, we now know when the updates are going to happen, thanks to a leaked Motorola Android 2.1 calendar, posted on the web recently, thanks to this site.

As shown in the table above, Moto Cliq, Cliq XT and Milestone will be getting the needed update, at least in Canada and Latin America. Backflip and APAC Dext will have to wait till Q3 in order to get the same software. What does the upgrade bring? Exchange support, a combined inbox, a touch keyboard and HTML5 support in the browser.

Contact sync is also among the features of the new software, plus a bunch of other functions. Apparently, HTC, Samsung and LG will also get 2.1 upgrades on their handsets, so look out for more leaks.
