Motorola has introduced the Moto Watch Ultra, a 46mm stainless-steel smartwatch built around Wear OS 6 and cellular connectivity. The watch combines LTE via eSIM, NFC and dual-band GPS with a Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset, marking a substantially more connected approach than Motorola’s longer-lasting basic wearables.
The Moto Watch Ultra has a 1.5-inch pOLED display rated at up to 2,700 nits and protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It carries IP68 and 5ATM ratings, making it suitable for swimming, while Motorola says the battery can last up to two days with the always-on display disabled.
Wear OS 6 brings access to Google Play, Google Maps, Google Wallet and Gemini. The Moto Watch Ultra is also Motorola’s first wearable to include Qira, the company’s AI assistant. Health and fitness features include Polar integration, heart-rate, SpO2, stress and sleep monitoring, plus support for more than 100 activities.
Motorola will ship both silicone and genuine-leather straps with the watch. Its standard 22mm strap fitting also allows owners to use third-party bands. The Moto Watch Ultra was shown in Berlin alongside the Motorola edge 70 and a Swarovski edition of the razr 70. Its claimed two-day endurance is far below the up-to-13-day figure for the Moto Watch 2026, but the Ultra adds Wear OS, LTE and more ambitious hardware in return.
