The Moto Atrix has just been turned into a dual SIM, dual core handset in China, known as the Motorola XT882. This device changes the specs and look of the Atrix a bit, as you’ll find out in the following lines. The handset comes with a dual core Tegra 2 CPU and supports two active SIM cards.

The model is intended for the Chinese market and it can roam on a CDMA network like China Telecom. It runs Android 2.3 and packs a 4 inch display with a 960 x 540 pixel resolution. Also, at the back there’s an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, a serious upgrade from the 5MP camera on the Atrix.

A 1880mAh battery should provide enough juice for your needs and we have to mention that there’s also a HDMI port on board. The price for this baby is $830, that reminds me more of the Motorola Xoom tablet than a smartphone. The good news is that this model upgrades the Froyo on Atrix with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
