Right after finding out from the famous blogger Eldar Murtazin that Nokia N9 is a “near perfect” device but MeeGo is not that good, we learn that Nokia’s MeeGo segment chief resigned. This might not have to do with Eldar’s thoughts about the platform, specially since Ari Jaaksi resigned last week, as he mentioned to Finnish site Talous Sanomat.

This departure won’t affect the MeeGo rollout schedule, as claimed by a Nokia spokesman, so the OS is still on track for the end of 2010. Jaaksi is not the first important figure to leave Nokia over the past months, as we’ve witnessed a CEO change and the replacement of the head of Nokia Mobile Solutions, Anssi Vanjoki.

Also, Nokia hired Peter Skillman from Palm to deal with the MeeGo User Experience and use the expertise gained from making webOS for turning the new platform into something better. Will MeeGo be a disappointment or a bomb? What do you think?
