With just a few days left until the launch event of the MIUI 6, today we see more screenshots with the custom interface developed by Xiaomi. As you saw a few days ago, Xiaomi sent press invites for this event in a attractive box that packed a big lollipop inside, making the invite look sweet.

Among the screenshots leaked today, we notice that the MIUI 6 will bring a compass application, and a dedicated data saver app designed to offer information about how much mobile data we use everyday. Looking at the icons, it seems that Xiaomi decided to use both round icons but some square ones too that are coming with rounded margins.

Like several smartphone producers on the market adopted a flat style design for the icons, Xiaomi did it the same. Is expected that MIUI 6 to be released on August 16, a day when we’ll find what other devices will get the update to the new user interface.
