It appears that Nokia Maps and the Windows Phone mapping application have finally united into a singular software, that will be available on the Windows Phone platform. WinRumors mentions that the software will come with 3D voice navigation, through Nokia’s Drive app.
Windows Phone Marketplace now includes what looks like a Nokia Maps app and the listing was uncovered this weekend, complete with reviews, public transport info and basic directions. The other interesting thing to know is that a couple of Nokia WP7 devices had their specs leaked recently. Nokia Ace, Nokia Searay and Nokia Sabre are the devices we’re talking about here.
The already famous Nokia Sea Ray will come with a Clear Black Display, an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and Carl Zeiss technology, plus a 3.7 inch AMOLED screen, 16GB of internal storage, a 1.4GHz CPU and a 1540 mAh battery. Nokia Sabre will feature a 3.7 inch LCD, 8GB of storage, a 5MP cam, 1.4GHz CPU. Mango OS and a interchangeable back over.
Finally, Ace, the only model we didn’t know on this list will be the strongest of the bunch, with a 4.3 inch AMOLED display, a 1800 mAh battery, an 8 megapixel autofocus camera, HSPA+ and a 1.4GHz CPU. Nokia World 2011 conference in London is the place where you’ll be seeing these hotties.
