CommunicAsia 2010 was the perfect opportunity to see Nokia N8 in action, in the black version. Social networking, the multimedia player, a pretty poor web browser and much more get demoed in the following 8 videos:

Checking out these videos, you’ll find that this the N8 works very fast for a Symbian Touch device and you’ll also like the single tap switch between photo and video. Face detection is also present on the N8, as well as multitouch gestures and the ability to switch between 12 megapixel to 16:9 9 megapixel widescreen mode.

Videos will start up pretty fast on the handset, almost instantly actually. Transition effects are also neat, but the big flaw of the Nokia N8 is certainly its web browser… More videos of the device below:
