We know everything there is to know about Nokia N97, the company’s first touchscreen smartphone with a sliding QWERTY keypad, but now it was pictured by the folks of FCC, ahead of the US release of the device.

Also, this seems to be an unannounced color version, a little bit disappointing for those hoping for a business look and good news for techie chicks.

The N97 is old news, when it comes to specs and we’ve already stopped drooling at it, since we’ve seen Palm Pre, Toshiba TG01 and many prototypes in action at CES and MWC 2009. Nokia 5800 hit the US hard and it became a hit rapidly, in spite of a few connectivity issues. Will the N97 follow in its footsteps?
