Onda has launched a new tablet with an 8 inch screen and Windows 10 on board. I’m talking about the Onda V820W CH model, that’s pictured below and priced at a mere $115. It’s no Surface Pro 4 (said to be coming on October 6th), but it’s surely affordable.

Chinese maker Onda is offering here a model with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and an IPS panel. The slate has 2 GB of DDR3L RAM, a quad core Intel Atom X5 Z8300 processor, clocked at 1.84 GHz and 32 GB of storage. There’s a microSD card slot with support for an extra 128GB and a 2 MP camera thrown in for good measure. We’re also getting Bluetooth, OGT, WiFi and HDMI here.

Keep in mind that in spite of the small diagonal, this is still an above 7 inch tablet, so it’s getting full Windows 10, with the desktop environment and Start Menu included. 7 inch and lower devices are getting Windows 10 Mobile, later in the year.
