OPPO’s Find X10 series could introduce a dedicated “Danxia Color” sensor designed to feed more accurate color and ambient-light data into the phones’ image processing, according to a new leak. The reported focus is portrait photography, where the system could help preserve natural-looking skin tones.

Tipster Digital Chat Station says the component would operate separately from the primary camera sensors, analyzing color and surrounding light before that information is used during photo processing. The approach could reduce common computational-photography issues that leave faces looking overly pale, too red or excessively saturated.

Recent Find X generations have already emphasized natural color calibration and portrait output. A dedicated sensor for chromatic information would extend that strategy, potentially giving OPPO more data to balance colors rather than relying exclusively on the imaging sensors and software processing.

The report remains unconfirmed, and it is not yet known whether Danxia Color hardware would be included across the entire Find X10 lineup or limited to higher-end Pro and Pro Max models. OPPO has not announced the Find X10 series or detailed its camera hardware.
