Even if it was the world’s slimmest smartphone at the moment of its launch, Oppo R5 was surpassed recently by the Vivo X5 Max, phone that measures only 4.75 mm in thickness, compared to the 4.85-mm waiste of the R5. However, this phone is still great from both design and hardware point of view.

Today, the Chinese company Oppo announced that the R5 smartphone will debut this month in India at a price tag between $400 and $480. Among the specs of Oppo R5 we have a 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display (1.920 x 1.080 pixels), an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2 GB of RAM, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

We get a 2.000 mAh battery, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing sensor, 16 GB space of internal storage, and 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS connectivity.
