Panasonic has yet another handset model ready to enter India, the P55 unit, that packs a 5.5 inch HD display. This phablet is priced below $200 and it has an interesting back pattern, as revealed by the picture below.

Priced at $167, this device offers a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, a quad core 1.2 GHz processor and Android 4.4 KitKat as the OS. At the back we find an 8 megapixel camera, with LED flash, while the front integrates a 2 MP selfie cam. This one is a dual SIM model, with features like Pop-i Player, Music Cafe and Gesture Play. The handset opts for capacitive buttons below the display and seems to adopt a good almost stock UI.

Panasonic P55 measures 7.9 mm in thickness, weighs 148 grams and comes with FM radio, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and Bluetooth 4.0. There’s also GPS on board, a 2500 mAh removable battery and the color choices offered for this model are black and pearl white.
