Philips may be getting into the big league soon, by launching a pretty and high specced smartphone, such as the model shown below. This is the Philips S653H, that seems to adopt a metal body and an edge to edge screen. It has just been certified by TENAA.

This will be an Android smartphone, one that will feature a 5.5 inch Full HD display, plus an octa core MediaTek CPU clocked at 2 GHz. It may be the Helio X10 or Helio P10, we can’t say for sure. Specs include 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot, while the back camera is a modest 8 MP shooter with dual LED flash.

The selfie cam is an 8 MP model and the OS mentioned by documents is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. We’ve got a fingerprint scanner at the back and this model is powered by a 2550 mAh battery, which feels very modest for a 5.5 incher. The weight is 150 grams and this is surely NOT a Xenium battery phone, that much we can guarantee.
