Roborock has entered the robotic pool-cleaner market with the RockAqua P1, a cordless model demonstrated at IFA 2026 in Berlin collecting leaves and debris from a test pool. The company says its first robot for the category can clean a pool floor, climb walls and scrub the waterline.
The RockAqua P1 uses a camera-based ClearVision system to detect areas with heavier debris and prioritize them. Roborock rates its suction flow at 6,800 gallons per hour, or about 25,700 liters per hour. It is also designed to navigate challenging pool layouts, including slopes, steps and shallow platforms with as little as 15 cm of water.
Roborock claims up to 3.5 hours of battery life. The cleaner has two filtration stages, rated at 180 and 70 microns, and a 4-liter debris basket. Its Auto Waterline Parking feature is intended to bring the robot to the pool edge after a cleaning cycle or when battery capacity falls below 15%, making retrieval easier.
The RockAqua P1 extends Roborock’s robot portfolio beyond its established vacuum cleaners and its more recent robotic lawn-mower push. Pricing, regional availability and a release timeline were not detailed in the information provided from IFA 2026.
