Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 9.0 update, based on Android 17, for the Galaxy A57. The release is initially live in South Korea and follows nearly a month of beta testing for the midrange phone.

The update carries firmware version A576SKSU2BZIE and has a download size of about 500MB. Samsung is expected to extend the rollout to additional regions, although timing can differ by market and carrier and no wider release schedule has been confirmed.

One UI 9.0 brings interface, productivity and privacy changes to the Galaxy A57, including:

  • A more customizable Quick Settings panel.
  • Improvements to Samsung Notes.
  • Accessibility enhancements.
  • A location-access indicator designed to show when an app is using the phone’s location.

Samsung introduced One UI 9.0 in July alongside the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8, then expanded the Android 17-based software to the Galaxy S26 series in mid-September. The update has also reached the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7.

Galaxy A57 owners can check for the package through Settings, then Software update, followed by Download and install. Some Galaxy AI features continue to depend on the specific Samsung device model, while the next regional wave of the A57 rollout remains the key detail to watch.
