Forget Black Friday, let’s focus on the upcoming Xmas offers for now… The much talked about Samsung Galaxy Nexus has just been spotted in a Verizon ad, that shows the 4G LTE version of the handset with a $199.99 price tag. Considering the snowy background, this is most likely a Christmas offer.

We can’t really say if this ad is real or not, since anyone with minor photo editing skills can pull this off. The price is extremely handsome for a LTE phone, no matter its branding, I’ll give you that. However, I expect a hefty monthly fee and a lot of cash to fork out for using Verizon’s LTE network. Hopefully, by the time this product hits the stores, its volume issue will be solved…

Let me remind you some of the reasons why you need to get a Galaxy Nexus: it’s the first phone to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the first with a 720p display and one of the few with a 4.65 inch display diagonal. If you’re not bothered by the lack of Gorilla Glass protection, memory card slot, volume button problem, 5MP camera and Pentile Matrix, then go right ahead and buy it.
