Samsung SGH-i897 has been first introduced to us in April, when it was spotted in the Bluetooth certification database. Its design reminded us of the Samsung Galaxy S model and at the time we knew the device was heading to AT&T. Now, the folks of AndroidGuys uncovered the following images of the handset:

Also, they came across some specifications, including a 5 megapixel camera, Android 2.1, a Snapdragon CPU, possibly running at 1GHz. These are coupled with the specs we already knew, Bluetooth and a 4 inch AMOLED display, so the smartphone looks pretty good so far.

Could this be AT&T’s first high end Android smartphone?
