Samsung just announced a brand new feature phone for South Korea, the SHW-A175S, that comes with a touchscreen display, as shown by the following image. This device is not a smartphone, since it uses a Samsung-made platform and has the Haptic UI on top of it.

Here’s the specs list, in case we’ve made you curious:

  • Display: 3.2 inch WQVGA (240 x 400 pixels), AMOLED touch
  • Connectivity: 3G, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, mobile TV receiver
  • Camera: 3.2MP
  • Memory: microSD slot (cards up to 16GB)

This handset also supports NFC connectivity, allowing its users to make wireless payments, replacing their wallet with this technology. Price and launch date are a mystery.
