Word’s out that Samsung will be unveiling its fresh OS, bada on December 8, just two weeks after announcing its plans in the software field. The company’s continuously expanding its mobile software offer, since they’ve also launched a Samsung App Store for the Omnia device.

An in-house OS means less costs of the cooperation with third parties requiring royalties for the operating systems they provide, although there’s always the option of going with Android or some other open source option.

The launch even of Samsung bada OS will take place at Vinopolis in London, with Dr. Hosco Lee, EVP and head of the Media Solution Center taking the stage to detail the platform.
