Aside from announcing Cyber-shot C903, Sony Ericsson also announced a brand new Walkman handset, W395, the most affordable slider phone of the brand to date. This is an entry-level handset we’re talking about, but it still packs powerful stereo speakers with high quality bass, the PlayNow and TrackID functions and motion gaming support.

W395 works with a stereo headset and it incorporates a TFT scratch-resistant screen (2 inches diagonal, 176 x 220 pixels resolution), 10 MB of internal memory plus a Memory Stick Micro slot. There’s also a 2 megapixel camera on its specs list, with 2.5x digital zoom, photo fix, picture blogging and video recording.

The new Walkman phone supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) connectivity, Bluetooth Stereo (A2DP), FM radio with RDS, video streaming and 3D games. Sony Ericsson W395 will be available for about EUR 250 in the following months, probably bundled with a 1 GB memory card.
