T-Mobile Germany will sell the new Sony Vaio P netbook for 600 EUR, with a 2 year web’n’walk Connect L data contract, as opposed to the retail price of 999 EUR. The device packs a 1.33 GHz processor, a 60 GB HDD and it’ll start shipping in April.

At the moment, Verizon Wireless offers the netbook with a $200 rebate for US users who sign up or extend their Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband contracts. However, the fact that this Intel Atom-based Sony netbook is sold directly through a carrier in Europ is a premiere.
