A countdown till the iPhone 4 is made available via Verizon has recently been published, which is ideal for people anxious to get their hands on a fresh version of former AT&T-exclusive item. Well, the release will happen on February 3rd, Friday at 3AM EST.

Expect the Verizon website to crash and if it wouldn’t, we’d be very surprised, but hey we’ve been surprised before. The handset will go for sale for $199 in the 16GB version and $299 for the 32GB one. The Big Red will offer plans starting at $70 for 450 minutes and unlimited data. Tethering will rob you of another $20… Better than AT&T, you say?
