Verizon just announced today the launch of LG Vortex and LG Cosmos, two new Android handsets, pictured below. The Vortex is a full touch Android 2.2 smartphone, while the Cosmos is a full QWERTY handset focused on messaging features.


LG Vortex will debut on November 18th, for $79.99, with a 2 year contract, after a $100 mail in rebate. Here’s its specs list:

Display: 3.2 inch touchscreen, haptic feedback support
Connectivity: WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1
Camera: 3.2MP
Memory: microSD card slot (32GB max)
Other features: SWYPE keyboard, 3G hotspot

Cosmos will also be launched on November 18th with a $49.99 price tag, a 2 year contract and a $50 mail in rebate. Its specifications go something like:

Display: 2.8 inch WQVGA touchscreen
Connectivity: Bluetooth 2.1
Memory: microSD card slot (16GB max)
Camera: 1.3MP
Other features: horizontal slide-out QWERTY keypad, home screen widgets
