It appears that big Chinese device makers are starting to inspire smaller companies. Thus, the Vivo phones’ design with a two tone ultra thin case has inspired this new Vtel handset.

The device is called Vtel X1 and it has a slim waistline and very slim bezels at 2.4 mm in thickness. Vtel seems to have used the Vivo X3 for inspiration for the X1 unit, giving it a two tone decoration with white/silver or white/gold options. The phone measures 6.8 mm in thickness and it has a very compact body.

Upfront there’s a 5 inch 720p screen with Gorilla Glass protection and the very slim bezels mentioned above. Inside it we find a quad core MediaTek processor, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. This is a dual SIM device, that integrates an 8 MP front cam and a 13 MP back shooter with sapphire glass lens. I’m expecting a price around $200 here!
