White iPhone Found in New York; Delayed Because of Case Color Issues?

Steve Jobs’ obsession with perfection strikes again, this time taking its toll on the release of the white version of the iPhone 4. The folks of Pocket Lint stumbled upon a “mystery man” carrying a white iPhone 4 around and questioned him on this matter. Apparently, he got the handset through a mate working at Cupertino.

This is the only place where this version of the iPhone 4 is to be found these days, since the release of the white color device has been delayed a bit. Apparently, Apple is having issues with its suppliers in Asia, that have made the iPhone’s Home button a different white nuance compared to the face plate.

Steve Jobs wants a perfect color sync, so that’s why we have to wait till all the cases get the perfect white…
